Controls Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for controls engineering & electrical support, controls modifications and continuous improvement of

production processes

· Provide technical support and direction to maintenance and other technical employees within the organization;

maintain regular contact with partners outside of direct work group

· Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment

· Lead activities related to TIP (Throughput Improvement Process)

· Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements

· Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies

· Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions

· Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority

· Maintaining the line from a controls aspect. Will debug and continuous improvements on the machine - PLCs and Robots (mostly Siemens and Fanuc)

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s in electrical engineering.

· 3 years of Controls experience

· Rockwell and Siemens experience

· Ability to adapt and work with others

· Fanuc robots, IR Vision on the robots is nice to haveCompany Description
