Construction Project Engineer - Multi-Family

PATRIOT FRAMING LLC is excited to add a multi-family project engineer to our team.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ experience:

As a general summary of the Patriot Project Engineer position, you will bridge the gap between design, estimating and actual project execution to eliminate all omissions or discrepancies which could cause mistakes, delays, unexpected costs and changes, or other issues with project construction. You will help your project team with administration and documentation of the construction project including procurement of materials, identifying scope gaps, pricing change orders, quality management, pre-construction, and vertical construction related tasks.

The Position Involves the Following Essential Functions:

Coordinate, maintain, and have a thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents as required for project set up in Patriot systems.

Proactively research, compare, analyze and track all construction documents to identify and collaborate regarding all possible omissions or discrepancies which could cause issues of any kind during vertical construction.

Review project estimation takeoffs and other estimating documents for accuracy and assist with seamless handoff to construction team.

Develop and maintain Submittal Logs, Specification Logs, RFI and ASI logs and related communications

Effectively review and expedite shop drawings and submittals as needed

Coordinate revisions and scope changes with estimators and construction management team

Utilize PROCORE software for all aspects of project management. Maintain each project platform for accurate project team access and collaboration.

Follow management direction, collaborate with all Patriot team members, and complete assigned tasks, initiate communication to help PREVENT or resolve project road blocks that may occur.

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA certification

Procore experience / certification

Experience with turnkey wood framing and/or large wood framed projectsCompany Description

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
