This small family-owned Central Phoenix manufacturing company is looking for an immediately available accountant to perform all accounting and administrative tasks. Accountant's responsibilities include recording all accounting transactions, preparing reports and reconciling accounts along with all administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Handle all accounting functions.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Process & post daily sales transactions.
Prepare bank deposits and monthly statements
Process and maintain A/R & A/P transactions and statements.
Provide assistance and support to company owners.
Manage and compile reports/summaries on daily & monthly basis.
Sales Tax Reporting.
Schedule daily shipping of products.
Answering phones, filing and other administrative duties.
Requirements:
2-4 years accounting education - A Must
Prepare all financial documentation for outside CPA
Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software (Quickbooks)
Hands on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
Computer Savy
Accuracy and attention to detail
Must have good organizational & communication skills and ability to handle multi-tasking.
Ability to carry out assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Able to start immediately.
