The Matrix Sciences Laboratory in our Pasco, Washington location supports the agricultural and environmental communities throughout the pacific northwest. It serves the agricultural, industrial and environmental industries’ testing with a comprehensive range of capabilities and services.

This work provides analytical services for a wide array of local, national and international clients of the Pacific Northwest, including fertilizer dealers, food processors, crop consultants, environmental engineers, government and academic researchers.

Role Summary:

The Analyst role performs routine laboratory analyses and technical method development.

What you’ll do:

Perform analyses on soils, plants, and fertilizers.

Experience with ICP-OES, FIA and other instrumental analysis techniques.

Experience working in a regulated environment.

Performing routine maintenance of instruments.

Conforming to lab QA/QC practices.

Troubleshooting as needed.

Method Development.

Aid in the refinement of our analysis methods and stay on top of recent scientific advances in the field.

Be adventurous and skilled to try out new methods to fulfill client needs.

What you have:

Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related field. Candidates without a degree will be considered with proper previous work experience.

Two years of successful chemical testing lab experience is preferred.

Proficient in the use of Windows based computer programs.

Familiarization with LIMS.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Candidates must be eligible to work unrestricted in the U.S.
