Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Azure Administrator within our NYC School Construction Authority team located in Long Island City, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with ISP and internal infrastructure teams to implement and manage Azure ExpressRoute and Network Security Group.

Monitor Azure consumption to prevent over usage.

Provision and manage Azure App Services, Function Apps and Logic Apps.

Assist with Virtual Machine provisioning, migration, and configuration in Azure.

Work with IT Development teams on the utilization of Azure Development tools, including and not limited to Service Bus, DevTest Labs, Team Services. etc.

Provision and manage Azure storage accounts and CDN.

Manage Azure Active Directory.

Design Disaster Recovery solution using Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup to streamline existing IT Systems Recovery process.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of experience with Azure data platform including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse Analytics),

Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, etc. Strong Object relational mapping experience with UML modeling and OO modeling.

Minimum 5 years of experience with T-SQL, Power Business Intelligence (Power BI) and Azure Analysis Services.

Experience working with design and construction industry data and proven track of implementation experience in EDI data formats .

Minimum 6 years in job roles involving metadata management, relational dimensional modeling and big data solution approaches with native Azure Data Platform tools or 1st party services.

Excellent communication, presentation skills with the right attitude towards problem solving in diverse teams.

Strong aptitude and technical skills with conceptual strength in logical solutions driven towards balanced optimal considerations.

Solid knowledge in SQL, security standards, BI tools, ETL tools and Microsoft Azure specific technologies.

Certifications in Azure, data modeling and metadata management.

Ability to use BI tools like Power BI to represent insights and other presentation techniques.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $75.00 to $90.00.

If applicable, hires for these projects will be required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (Moderate Background Investigation). This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; however, this clearance must be obtained prior to working on these projects.
