Network Engineer

System One is working with a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to providing cutting-edge network solutions that is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join the team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Tulsa, OK.

Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S.

without sponsorship.

This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

Configure and maintain network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.

Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security protocols and measures.

Perform regular network assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5-8 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.

Proficiency in network design and implementation.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

Experience with network security practices and technologies.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
