Volt is immediately hiring for an Engineering Technician in Palm Bay, FL As an Engineering Technician, you will: Transport test equipment, fixtures, and cables to required testing locations.

Setup tests per written documentation and engineering direction.

Verify all test equipment is in calibration.

verify all licensed test software is not expired.

Assemble custom or COTS equipment/fixtures.

Performs test and records required information.

Document failures and reports any anomalies to key stakeholders.

Executing automated software using LabVIEW and/or Test Stand GUIs.

Troubleshooting failed assemblies with engineering oversight.

Operate RF and/or digital test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs and power supplies.

This is a 4-month full time contract with possible extensions opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have: Minimum High School Experience operating RF and Digital test equipment and technology is a must Very strong computer skills Must be able to run automated tests.

Strong windows, navigate directories, MS office programs etc., able to adhere to strict documented processes.

Strong attention to detail and able to work with small/fragile/detailed parts Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.

Experience with qualification testing, including vibration, thermal and thermal vacuum testing prefer.

Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
