Butler, NJ Contract to Hire 1st Shift $17.75/hour CLEANING OPERATOR SUMMARY: The primary function of the Cleaning Operator is to perform scheduled and non-scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including CNC machines, maintenance equipment, production tools, and floors.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform machine cleanouts per work instruction Maintain clean machines by clearing chips and cleaning oil leaks Maintain CNC machine oil levels Clean the floor using degreasing solution and vacuum; empty vacuum as needed Clean the insides of CNC machines and collect chips from buckets Spin excess oil from chip buckets and stage full chip drums Report issues to Supervisor and suggest solutions Follow safety and environmental policies Perform job duties with minimal supervision Other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical knowledge or experience Knowledge of CNC and production machinery is a plus Comfortable with motorized and non-mechanical cleaning equipment Good verbal communication in English Ability to follow written/verbal instructions Basic math (measuring, calculator use) Lifting (up to 50 lbs frequently, 75 lbs occasionally) Exposure to high-pressure gas, heated/moving mechanical parts, cleaning chemicals #m1 Ref: #561-Joule Staffing - Parsippany
