Volt is immediately hiring for a R&D Technical Coordinator at Colorado Springs, CO 80907 As a R&D Technical Coordinator, you will: Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
Turn on and troubleshoot PCA’s.
Build / assemble full instrument prototypes.
Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes.
Troubleshoot and repair prototypes.
Build, troubleshoot, and maintain test racks containing electronic test and measurement equipment.
Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data.
Help to maintain the NPI Lab environment.
This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 am – 4pm.
The Ideal Candidate will have: 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Higher level education or certifications in electronics.
Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes.
General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers.
Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully.
Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change.
