CAD Drafter

Designs and produces Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of building systems for reference, historical documentation, use and production.

Develop graphics and present materials to assist the department and the university in making decisions.

Travel to other TTUHSC locations to understand how spaces are used.

Assist in maintaining and organizing the construction document archives (both physical and electronic).

Experience using AutoCAD software.

Experience with the terminology, methods, practices, and techniques of drafting.

Experience preparing reports independently and implementing and maintaining effective office management systems.

Experience using Microsoft Office package, particularly Word and Excel.

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite package. Particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at

Associate's degree in a related area and 1 year of experience in the field or in a related are.
