In this Sr Principal Network Administrator position you will make impacts in the following ways;
Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.

Professional Skills
An active Secret Clearance is required
Must be able to obtain a Security+ or equivalent security certification within 6 months of starting
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment
Minimum of a High School Diploma and 10 plus years of relevant experience
Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions
Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks
Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment
Technical skills
Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform
Good understanding of Cisco and Juniper technologies
Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel
Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP
Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection
Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices
Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE
Preferred Skills and Education
Security + or equivalent certification
Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet
Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems
Experience with network virtualization and SD-WAN
A basic knowledge of programming languages like Python
Understand EVPN-VXLAN overlay architectures
Experience with VMware network architectures
Use of data center orchestration technologies such as Apstra
Familiarity with multicast technologies and anycast routing
Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation)
Familiarity with public cloud technologies
Work in a GitOps style automation pipeline
Technical skills
