About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and technically proficient Application Architect with over 10 years of experience designing enterprise-grade solutions, preferably within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures that comply with healthcare standards and regulations such as HIPAA, FHIR, and HL7.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of end-to-end application architectures for complex healthcare systems.
Define architectural standards, principles, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across applications.
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and tools to optimize performance, security, and maintainability.
Ensure architecture is compliant with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST).
Provide architectural governance across multiple projects, reviewing designs, and mentoring development teams.
Participate in system integration efforts including interoperability with EHR/EMR systems, third-party APIs, and legacy platforms.Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in application development and architecture, including hands-on coding experience.
Strong expertise in application architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Experience with .NET, Java, or Node.js, along with modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, API design, and system integration.
Proven experience in the healthcare industry, including familiarity with EHR systems, HL7, FHIR, or claims processing.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, including HIPAA, PHI, and secure application design.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or SAFe Architect.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Familiarity with healthcare analytics, population health platforms, or patient engagement systems.
