The Opportunity

We’re seeking multiple Lead Controls Technicians with strong experience in Delta Controls, PLCs, or BMS systems to support our large-scale data center builds. This is a high-urgency role with batch interviews starting immediately. You’ll lead on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting efforts for integrated building control systems. Key Responsibilities

Lead the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) or PLC-integrated controls.

Supervise and assign tasks to Controls Technicians; coach on best practices and field solutions.

Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of scope.

Interpret blueprints and technical documents to guide installation and commissioning.

Conduct point-to-point verification, system calibration, and integration with HVAC and other building systems.

Identify and resolve field issues related to hardware, programming, or system communication.

Submit QA/QC documentation and parts orders via DivPro; maintain weekly progress updates with Project Managers.

Ensure field work adheres to safety standards, quality protocols, and project specifications.

Deliver clear system handover documentation and support basic end-user training.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in controls systems, including installation, integration, and commissioning.

Recent experience with PLC or BMS integration (within the last 3–6 months).

Strong knowledge of Delta Controls highly preferred.

Background in commercial/industrial construction required; HVAC or refrigeration experience a plus.

Field experience from related industries like oil & gas, rail, or shipping welcomed.

Strong troubleshooting skills, field leadership, and behavioral alignment (will undergo screening).

OSHA certification preferred.
