Senior Accountant

About the Role:

CFO Hub is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing company in the manufacturing industry based in Riverside, CA. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support their finance operations. This role plays a vital part in daily accounting functions, financial reporting, and collaboration across departments. The position offers flexibility to work either on-site or remotely, depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries

Post General Ledger (G/L) journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Support inventory valuation and cycle counts in coordination with production and warehouse teams

Generate ad hoc financial reports for management

Assist with annual audit and tax filing preparation

Maintain fixed asset records and update depreciation schedules

Identify and recommend process improvements across accounting and operational areas

Partner with operations, procurement, and sales teams to deliver financial insights

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (manufacturing or construction industry preferred)

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Power BI is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis required)

Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, or job costing is advantageous

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across departments
