Job Description

As an Estimator at Earthmovers Unlimited, Inc, your job is to determine the costs of projects by analyzing plans, gathering information, and estimating materials, labor, and other expenses. You will predict the project costs and ensure projects stay on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Cost analysis: Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation to determine project costs

Quote Gathering: Researching and obtaining quotes from supplies and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and labor

Cost Tracking: Monitoring project costs throughout different phases & comparing them against estimated costs

Bid Preparation: Developing and submitting buds for projects, including detailed cost breakdowns and specifications

Communication: Communicating with project managers & other stakeholders to to provide cost information and clarify project requirements

Report Generation: Create detailed reports and submittals based on the clients and management's needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent communication & interpersonal skills; technical skills; mathematical proficiency; attention to detail; experience with construction & demolition estimates
