Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Application Administrator to provide enterprise-level technical support and application development expertise for IBM FileNet and related ECM platforms. This role is integral to managing, customizing, and optimizing FileNet-based applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in content migration, database management, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

Act as the FileNet Architect, providing technical guidance and application support.

Develop and manage custom widgets, business rules, and FileNet configurations.

Lead content migration projects including extraction, transformation, and load (ETL).

Analyze complex issues and provide technical solutions across the FileNet ecosystem.

Customize IBM Content Navigator (ICN), including filters, search features, and plugins.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.

Collaborate with stakeholders and Project Managers, delivering regular status updates.

Utilize tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, TFS, and Jira to track tasks, features, and defects.

Must-Have Skills:

2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) application development.

Experience integrating custom widgets and business rules in FileNet applications.

3+ years of experience with large-scale content migration projects.

Strong experience with Db2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server.

Hands-on expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Highly Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

Deep understanding of the IBM FileNet P8 Platform, IBM Case Manager, and IBM Content Navigator.

Proficiency with FileNet P8 APIs and integration/web services.

Customization experience with ICN search, filters, and UI plugins.

Experience with tools like Kofax Capture or IBM DataCap.

Knowledge of workflow concepts: roles, in-baskets, and subscriptions.

Familiarity with technologies like JSON, Java, Dojo, EDS, and HTML5-based image viewers.

SSL certificate management using tools like Java Keytool and IBM iKeyman.

Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL Queries.

Qualifications

These duties are too complex and specialized to be performable with a bachelor’s degree related to computer science or computer information systems or information technology.
