Job Description: -

The position helps implement Financial System solutions for SOA. This role requires a certain level of Oracle Functional domain knowledge in Financials coupled with technical expertise to implement solutions. The successful candidate will possess experience with full life-cycle application development along with exposure to evaluating, coordinating and creating deliverables; meeting with business users to get requirements and resolving issues.

Experience in Oracle Application development using PL/SQL, APEX, ORDS.

OAF and ADF application development skill is a plus

Experience in Oracle Application modules like AR, AP GL, Fixed Assets, Projects, service contracts

Experience gathering software requirements

Experience writing functional and technical specifications

Experience creating test plans and test cases

Experience leading meetings, coordinating deliverables, and resolving issues

Experience database interfaces and writing advanced SQL statements, procedures and packages

Proven experience interfacing with customers and development teams

Strong written and oral communications skills including presentation skills

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and take the initiative to find solutions

Duties Include:

Responsible for communications between IT and internal business partners and offshore teams.

Responsible for defining and documenting requirements, systems testing, internal & external support and issue management and resolution

Assists in evaluating and proposing solutions that maximize business value with analysis skills that clearly articulate potential technical solutions

Develops comprehensive understanding of business processes, defines as-is/to-be business process and builds strong working rapport with the team

Discovery, analysis and solution architecture for all projects for SOA Financials systems

Analyze business requirements and estimate design and development work for various projects

Work on continuous improvements and digitization with enhancements and future projects

Develop technical design based on requirements from the business team.

Perform development using PL/SQL, Oracle Application Express (APEX), Oracle ORDS.

Develop data integration with internal and external partners as necessary.

Follow code control standards using source control tools like SVN or GITS.

Participate in test strategy and assist users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Document installation instructions.

Assist DBA team in code migration and post-production support
