Summary

The Press Operator is a team member who is authorized, responsible and accountable for maintaining quality standards by means of performing, and documenting production injection molding and support operations, meeting defined production standards, schedules, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, responsibilities may include, and not limited to:

•Performs injection molding machinery operations.

•Trims/deburrs excess material from molded parts.

•Regrinds excess material for reuse using a grinding machine.

•Visually inspects parts according to established quality criteria.

•Prepares and packs boxes of finished parts.

•Reports production issues and assist in resolutions as required.

•Maintains an organized, clean, and safe working environment.

•Performs additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Production Manager, or designeeRequirements:

•Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment preferred.

•Familiarity with the use of machinery, hand, and power tools.

•Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

•Ability to read and follow work instructions and other guidance documents.

•Detail orientated and ability to organize, prioritize, and plan work to meet deadlines.

•Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
