Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Oracle
Location: Nashville, TN(Hybrid)
12 months Contract
Job Purpose:
The Data Engineer - Oracle role is responsible for designing and developing modules application housed in Oracle.
Introduction
This person will work closely with the product manager, business analyst, and development lead to facilitate software development and maintenance related to proprietary Oracle packages, stored procedures and triggers. They will create ad hoc reports, automate and optimize processes.
Required Skills and Experience
·& & & & & & & & 10+ years of Oracle Database Development Experience through all development life cycle

·& & & & & & & & Advanced knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL – coding, analysis, design and creation of custom
·& & & & & & & & packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
·& & & & & & & & Advanced knowledge of Oracle Scheduler integration for on-demand requirements
·& & & & & & & & Advanced ability to analyze and create high performance SQL queries over very large
·& & & & & & & & datasets
·& & & & & & & & Advanced knowledge in Dynamic SQL and BULK Collection methodologies
·& & & & & & & & Advanced capability in ETL functions using External tables, Oracle’s UTL_FILE package, and
·& & & & & & & & SQL Loader
·& & & & & & & & Advanced capability in DDL and DML scripting
·& & & & & & & & Advanced capability in LINUX shell scripting
·& & & & & & & & Advanced capability in Database development IDE; Quest Toad for Oracle or other
·& & & & & & & & Advanced capability in AWS Workspace development environment
·& & & & & & & & Beginner level GitLab code repositories; SourceTree or other git tools
·& & & & & & & & Ability to collaborate with team members, Product Managers, subject matter experts, and
·& & & & & & & & other teams to refine requirements and translate into functional software using standardized coding techniques and conventions
·& & & & & & & & Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
·& & & & & & & & Beginner+ understanding of development life cycle phases, CI/CD, DevOps, unit amp;
integration testing, documentation and solution delivery in cloud systems
·& & & & & & & & If in Nashville, the ability to adhere to a hybrid work schedule in Nashville, requiring
typically, 3 days per week in office but may vary based on business needs
