Job Description:

Location: BHC Main Operating Room

Age Groups of Patients: Adults, Geriatric

Top Diagnosis/Procedures: CABG, AVR, MVP, Ascending Aneurysm, Carotid, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, TAVR, Endo AAA,

Common Medications used on the unit: Heparin

Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:1

Our OB/GYN surgical areas are separate from the Main OR. Occasional Conscious Sedation or Local only cases.

Required/Preferred Skills

Cardiac Skills:

Required: Cardioversion/Defibrillation

Airway Skills:

Required: Procedural Sedation

OBGYN/OR Skills:

Required: Circulate

Ortho/MS/ONc

Required: Wound Vac
