Bar Peelers (Entry Level)

Job Description

Our client in Derry, PA is looking for Bar Peelers to join their team. This is a full-time position typically consisting of 10-hour shifts, five days per week. Weekend availability is occasionally required (10% or less of the time). The role rotates from 1st to 2nd shift.

Job Duties:

- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols

- Assist with setup and tooling changes for bar peeling and polishing machines

- Ensure accurate identification of materials and bar locations

- Uphold strict quality assurance standards

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently

- Operate and control band and plate saws

- Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, roundness gauges, and length measurement devices

- Run bar peeling and polishing equipment

- Perform manual bar conditioning tasks

- Maintain a constant state of alertness and practice safe work habits at all times
