Part-Time Bakery Assistant

Job Description

VOS Desserts LLC is a family owned dessert company. We create custom cakes and desserts, in addition to whole sale baked goods. We are seeking a part-time assistant baker who knows their way around a kitchen, who can follow recipes and take instructions from the head baker.

Job Responsibilities:

Constructing various desserts

Mixing cake batter

Mixing cake frosting

Mixing various dessert pudding and custards

Pouring cake batter into cake pans

Taking cake pans in and out of ovens

Assistance with frosting and cutting cakes

Assistance with boxing cakes

Assistance with folding boxes

Kitchen clean-up, including but not limited to washing all dishes related to baking

Picking up baking supplies from various supply stores

Storing baking supplies

Delivering dessert items

Requirements:

Must have a valid Driver’s license

Must have transportation to and from work

Must be able to lift 25lbs.

Job consists of periodically walking up and down stairs. Standing, walking and some sitting.

Days and Hours of work:

Tuesday-Sunday

10:00am-6:00pm

Note: Hours of work may vary depending on business needs.
