Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Meet with potential new clients in the primarily private sectors such as architects, lead design consultants, developers or owners, to promote WTI’s brand and services within the aquatics industry, and ultimately secure new projects for the company.
Develop and nurture long lasting relationships with clients and within the industry.
Conduct research to identify potential prospects and follow up on incoming leads.
Develop scope-specific design proposals and cost worksheets for development of project fees.
Develop presentations for client meetings and interviews alongside WTI marketing team.
Travel to clients for attendance at project interviews, park/facility tours, and meetings as necessary.
Attend tradeshows and other networking events in support of lead generation and representation for the firm.
Support marketing staff in development of project specific qualifications/submittals for new projects.
Act as industry expert and thought leader, remaining visible across markets, assisting with articles and white paper development, providing active engagement on LinkedIn, etc.
Support client in programming and needs identification for all new projects.
Communicate with WTI internal staff and designers for all project needs during preliminary design and remain engaged as client and owner point of contact throughout project for questions and client management.
Communicate with clients, owners, health departments, vendors, and internal project team to ensure smooth delivery of projects within outlined milestones and deliverables.
Be visible and expand WTI’s brand awareness in Florida and internationally through the attendance of local and industry specific events.
Support WTI in the opening of an Orlando area office. Relocation to Orlando is not expected, though regular travel to facilitate logistics should be anticipated.
Support WTI’s international presence and brand development through attendance at tradeshows and networking events.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, business or another related field.
Experience in entertainment, theme park, waterpark or AE industries is strongly preferred.
Experience with business development for a professional services company is preferred.
Adept in dealing with a broad array of clients, client representatives, and industry professionals in support of business development opportunities.
Works independently on projects, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and when and where to engage others to successfully complete a project.
Manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Interprets and exceeds internal and external client expectations and team needs.
Above average verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.

WTI is an internationally recognized, family-owned, design and engineering firm specializing in commercial aquatic venues such as waterparks, aquatic centers, and sport swimming pools. We are seeking a proactive, multi-faceted project manager to join our Beaver Dam, Wisconsin team to manage a wide variety of swimming pool projects. The position requires a high level of client facing interaction and service. The ability to communicate effectively with internal teams of designers and engineers, as well as external sub-consultants, to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while exceeding client expectations is a key aspect of this role. Experience with mechanical, civil or electrical engineering is strongly preferred.
