Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced prep cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications.

In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Following prep lists created by chefs.

Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.

Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.

Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.

Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers.

Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.

Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.

Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

Stock inventory and supplies.

Pay: $13.00 - 15.00 per hour including tips
