Job Title: MRF Line Sorter (Recycling Sorter)

Location: Fresno, CA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50

About the Role:

We’re hiring motivated and reliable MRF Line Sorters to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for removing recyclable material from a moving conveyor belt and placing items into proper bins/bunkers. This is an active position that requires steady work in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manually sort and hand-pick recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, wood, metal, aluminum, tin, and more from a conveyor belt.

Remove unacceptable items and ensure proper placement in designated bunkers or storage locations.

Maintain a clean and safe work area using cleaning tools.

Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties related to plant equipment.

Communicate and cooperate effectively with team members.

Follow all workplace safety rules, procedures, and company policies.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Report any issues or concerns to Line Leads or Supervisors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-year prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Capable of performing repetitive tasks.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, dust, and odors.

Available to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
