Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Inventory Supervisor to lead the company’s inventory operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, movement, issuance, and reconciliation of all raw materials, chemicals, packaging components, and finished goods using SOS Inventory, ensuring full traceability, lot control, and compliance

This position plays a key role in managing inventory accuracy and flow across both locations, supporting production schedules while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP practices, and company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Oversight (Primary & Secondary Warehouses)

Manage inventory across the main manufacturing facility (72,000 sq. ft.) and the secondary warehouse (25,000 sq. ft.).

Coordinate movement of slow-moving and overflow inventory to offsite warehouse; ensure timely transfer of required materials back to the main facility based on production demand.

Maintain accurate lot tracking and location-based records within SOS Inventory across both facilities.

System & Compliance Management (SOS Inventory)

Oversee all inventory transactions in SOS Inventory, including receiving, staging, transferring, issuing, and reconciling materials.

Maintain strict lot number control, expiry tracking, and status management (quarantine, approved, rejected) within the system.

Enforce FIFO and FEFO methodologies to reduce waste and maintain product quality.

FDA / cGMP Compliance

Ensure all storage, labeling, segregation, and handling of materials comply with FDA regulations and internal SOPs.

Support audit readiness by ensuring proper documentation of all inventory movements, issuance logs, and chain-of-custody records.

Conduct regular internal audits of inventory and storage areas for compliance and accuracy.

Warehouse Leadership & Material Flow

Supervise a team of warehouse personnel and coordinate daily activities related to receiving, put-away, and issuance of materials.

Train staff on proper use of SOS Inventory, warehouse SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee proper storage of flammable, hazardous, temperature-controlled, and expired/rejected materials in accordance with safety and regulatory protocols.

Ensure proper labeling and segregation of all inventory by location, status, and lot number.

Production Support & Issuance

Manage timely and accurate issuance of materials to production batches in accordance with Master Batch Records (MBRs) and production schedules.

Monitor and reconcile issued vs. returned materials, ensuring proper handling and disposition.

Work closely with Production, QA, and Purchasing to align material availability with demand.

Inventory Accuracy & Reporting

Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, monthly reconciliations, and physical inventories.

Analyze variances and resolve root causes of discrepancies between physical and system inventory.

Prepare and distribute inventory KPIs, including aged inventory, shrinkage, and turnover metrics.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years in an inventory leadership role

Proficient in SOS Inventory or similar ERP/WMS systems.

Strong working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 210/211, cGMP, and warehouse safety protocols.

Forklift certification and experience with hazardous materials (preferred).

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting tools.
