Receiving Supervisor
Compensation: Starting pay rate of $51,000–64,000/yr + three performance bonuses a year!
Location: South Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
Execute the selection, coaching, mentoring, development, and performance management of a warehousing team encompassing 7-10 direct reports responsible for receiving, stocking, inventory control, and product delivery.
Lead teams by allocating resources to meet daily business needs. Ensure materials are received and processed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
Facilitate employee training and build succession within the department.
Communicate daily metrics and resource constraints to warehouse leadership team.
Improve product quality and reduce errors & omissions through continuous improvement principles, maximize productivity by identifying waste and implementing improvements.
Determine and improve process capabilities and personnel productivity. Provide consultation to teammates as needed.
Ensure safety procedures are followed by teammates. Identify and communicate safety-related continuous improvement opportunities to leadership.

Prior experience with following production schedules (or scheduling rules) for operations.
Preferred prior experience working in a high-performance team setting.
Previous experience in Receiving/Warehousing/Distribution preferred.
Strong leadership, training, and coaching skills preferred.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs preferred.
Work Environment: This is a warehousing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights, and confined spaces.
