POSITION SUMMARY:
This frontline position is crucial in creating a positive image of Northfield Savings Bank. The Customer Support Representative I position requires the delivery of exceptional customer service via telephone and email communications, a solid understanding of the NSB products and services, and comfort with all electronic channels. The ability to build customer relationships, earn trust both with customers and with internal teammates, and maintain confidentiality is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent
Demonstrated customer service skills
Proficient communication and telephone skills
Strong written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate technical information through writing
Flexible and comfortable working with both internal and external customers
Ability to interact well with all departments and all levels of the organization
Willingness to be an active team player
Highly organized with proven ability to handle detail with accuracy
Ability to quickly and positively adapt to change
A self-starter with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Reliable, professional and flexible
PREFERRED:
Two or more years' experience in banking
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient with Jack Henry core software
