Event Security Officer

Job Description

Overview:

IronWatch Security is seeking qualified Event Security Officers to join our team. Our Event Security Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and event organizers.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor event premises to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed.

Conduct access control at entry points and verify the credentials of attendees.

Respond to incidents and emergencies, assisting as needed.

Collaborate with event coordinators and law enforcement as necessary.

Provide excellent customer service and assistance to guests and event staff.

Report and document any security incidents or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.

Valid security guard registration as required by DCJS.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age or older.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service skills.

Possess a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Registration.

Pass a background check.

Available to work all schedules/shifts, including weekends and holidays.
