Job Description
The Operations Manager at iJility Site is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the flow of goods through the facility, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of inbound, quality, and outbound operations. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Days/Hours - Friday – Sunday 6am – 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Operations Oversight
Manage the receipt, inspection, and sorting of inbound shipments to ensure that all goods are processed quickly and accurately.
Monitor and analyze inbound workflows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
Quality Control
Establish and maintain quality standards for all inbound and outbound products, ensuring compliance with established quality guidelines.
Oversee the quality assurance team, ensuring that all goods are inspected and meet specified quality criteria before being processed further.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and training programs for staff to ensure consistent adherence to standards.
Outbound Operations Management
Lead the outbound team in the accurate and timely processing, packing, and shipping of orders.
Ensure that all outbound operations meet customer delivery expectations and ijility’s performance metrics.
Manage the coordination between different departments to ensure smooth and efficient outbound processes, minimizing delays and errors.
Team Leadership
Supervise and develop a team of supervisors and frontline associates, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Ensure all staff are adequately trained and understand their roles and responsibilities within the deconsolidation process.
Operational Efficiency
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency across all departments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing costs, improving service levels, and maximizing throughput.
Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the facility.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Reporting and Communication
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including inbound, quality, and outbound metrics, to senior management.
Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and coordination.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Proven experience in managing inbound, quality control, and outbound operations.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating employees.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for operational details.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.

Working Conditions
