Freight Operations Supervisor

Join Our Team as a Freight Operations Supervisor!

What You'll Need to Excel in This Role:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in freight operations

Proven supervisory or management background

Strong expertise in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry

Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations, OSHA, and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience

Experience with LTL freight management or service center leadership

Familiarity with forklift operation

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for delivering clear and organized information

About the Role:

As a Freight Operations Supervisor, you will:

Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery services

Direct the daily operations of our service center

Manage revenue, profit, and cost measures

Oversee staffing and resources effectively

Mentor and lead all personnel at the facility

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 75 lbs

Capability to perform tasks such as reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment
