Electrical Engineer-Power Systems Design

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Salary: $100K-$120K

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop power distribution systems (1000V or less)

Perform load flow and short-circuit analyses

Prepare detailed design documentation

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and oversee projects

Provide technical support during installation and commissioning

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)

5-10 years of relevant experience

P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)

Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Office

Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70, NESC/IEEE

U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

Preferred Experience: Consulting or construction background

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in industrial environments, climb stairs/ladders
