Job Description

One of Swoon's top clients in the Insurance space is hiring an AV Installation Tech to join their team out of Schaumburg, IL!

DETAILS:

Location: On-site - Schaumburg

Duration: 3 months to start

Rate: $25-$28.5/hour W2

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Installation & Setup:

Install plug-and-play camera bars for huddle rooms (USB-based).

Remount monitors (from top to bottom), make necessary tweaks and adjustments.

Replace switches as part of the standard setup documentation.

2. Larger Meeting Room Installations:

Install and replace cameras (more complex setups).

Upgrade monitors and adjust software configurations.

Work with MS Teams rooms (Windows-based systems).

Ensure ADA compliance where applicable.

Update firmware and apply necessary software updates.

Work Process & Documentation:

Follow detailed instructions and position documents.

Use examples and demos as references for installations.

Ensure consistent and repeatable results across installations.

Meeting Room System Setup:

Configure Microsoft Teams settings.

Install and manage PC-based systems that run meetings.

Set up MS Teams programs to launch automatically upon entry.

Integration & Booking:

Work with MS Outlook integration for room booking.

Install and configure Android (plug-and-play) and Windows-based rooms.
