Software Engineer

Location: West Sacramento, CA

Overview: LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a prominent client to recruit a dedicated Software Engineer for a full-time, position with a limited 3-year term.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities:

Develop technical solutions to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to quality assurance, design, and architecture standards.

Implement integration capabilities, and clearly communicate recommendations and outcomes to leadership, vendors, and staff.

Conduct thorough research and analysis of issues, focusing on software design, regression, and automation testing.

Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Utilize a strong understanding of data analysis, software development, and lifecycle management.

Engage in strategic planning for both short-term and long-term projects.

Guide cross-functional project teams and create detailed test plans.

Establish and monitor quality metrics, and manage detailed test cases and scripts.

Prepare comprehensive reports and work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in researching and analyzing software issues with a complex understanding of design and testing.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.

Strong grasp of data analysis and software development lifecycles.

Strategic planning skills and experience in guiding cross-functional teams.

Expertise in creating detailed test plans and managing quality metrics.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.

Proficiency in report preparation.

Hours: 40 per week

Employment type; limited term contract
