Youll provide essential support in the classroom, working alongside teachers to foster student success and independence. Whether assisting with instruction, behavior management, or individualized learning plans, your role is crucial in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with teachers to support student learning and engagement.

Provide one-on-one or small group assistance for students needing extra support.

Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans.

Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess.

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred).

Previous experience working with children, especially in an educational setting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting student growth.

Ability to follow teacher guidance and work independently when needed.
