Description

Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Location: New York, NY

Here we grow again! We are excited to be searching for our newest team member and the perfect match for our practice! Seeking a part-time Mental Health Therapist for our busy practice.

Mental Health Therapist Compensation:

· Estimated salary range between $130,000-230,000

· Percentage of net collections

· 1099 or W2 options available

Mental Health Therapist Requirements:

· Master’s Level degree or Doctoral degree in a mental health specialty from an accredited institution required

· LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or Psy.D licensure required

· Interest and experience in treating all ages, including children and adults

· Must be able to provide evidenced based treatment

· Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in mental health care

· Competence in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological testing is a plus, with experience in conducting evaluations for learning, attention, and/or social and emotional challenges in students of all ages, as well as experience with ADHD testing

· Ability to provide a minimal amount of evening or weekend hours is a plus

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities:

· Provision of individual and/or group therapies as determined by therapist and supervising clinician, based on an evidence-based model of therapy

· If applicable, performing testing intakes, planning assessment batteries, administering psychological measures, interpreting data, writing reports, providing feedback sessions, clarifying diagnoses, completing documentation, developing treatment plans under the leadership of the Testing Director, based in the DC office.

· Collaborate with other mental health professionals in the center, including other therapists and psychiatrists to provide comprehensive care to clients.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, providing a note for every encounter

· Participate in case consultations and team meetings

· Stay current with best practices

· Other duties as assigned
