**Job Title: Construction Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Laborer Foreman to join our team. This role involves patching drywall, breaking down concrete forms, installing hardware such as doors and windows, and completing finish carpentry tasks like casework and cabinet installation. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean job site, coordinating material lifting, moving dumpsters, setting up temporary structures when needed, and managing indoor ventilation during hot weather.
**Responsibilities**
+ Patch drywall and break down concrete forms.
+ Install hardware including doors and windows.
+ Finish carpentry tasks such as casework, installing trim, and cabinets.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the job site.
+ Coordinate material lifting with team members.
+ Move dumpsters to designated areas.
+ Set up fencing or temporary doors/windows as needed.
+ Manage indoor ventilation by setting up fans during hot weather.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience.
+ Carpentry skills.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Valid driver's license.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least 1 year of construction experience.
+ Experience with electrical and cast iron installations.

**Work Environment**
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekend work required. Projects are predominantly commercial, focusing on new builds and remodels. The current project is phase II of the UNI Dome renovation in Cedar Falls, which includes comprehensive seating upgrades and accessibility improvements. You will work with a medium-sized team of 8-12 laborers, primarily collaborating with 1-2 other laborers daily. Dress code includes boots, jeans, and a T-shirt with no holes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
