We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate sit down forklift in a safe manner.

Clean laser parts as needed and label with correct job information.

Keep clean and organized work space.

Utilize Parker Fabrication’s ERP/MRP to track jobs, log time and manage inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Report to direct supervisor for daily tasks

Assist in storage & organization of Shipping Pallets

Prioritize & manage shop organization

Prioritize & manage shop cleanliness

Maintain sufficient inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to properly maintain the property.

Keep maintenance office, utility rooms, storage areas, and all common area spaces neat and organized

Routine maintenance tasks may include but are not limited to :

Change furnace filters

Checking fluids in machines and equipment

Greasing machines and equipment

Small repairs

Service and repair automobiles

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Report to Shop Floor Manager

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma required

EXPERIENCE: General knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

SKILLS / ABILITIES:

Strong work ethic with self-motivator mindset.

Present a professional appearance at all times.

Intermediate computer skills.

Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Must be able to maintain paper and digital organizational systems.

Ability to work in a diverse environment and be sensitive to issues of diversity and inclusion.

Must have dependable transportation and minimal external factors that would prevent applicant from being a present and punctual employee when scheduled.

Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, and Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Equipment Used: Computer, Forklift, Hand Tools, Hoists, Skates, Carts, Dollies

Software Used: JobBoss, Gmail, Unipoint
