Engineering / Manufacturing Operations, Summer Internship

Are you graduating college in May, 2025 with an Engineering or Business degree and looking to gain valuable work experience and build your resume this Summer? If you reside in Beaver County, PA or any of the surrounding areas, we have an excellent opportunity to complete a Summer Internship with our Engineering and Manufacturing Operations team.

Location: Center Township, PA (20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport)

Duration: May 19th -July 14th

As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside experienced managers and contribute to real-world projects that have a direct impact on the company's success. You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of engineering/business solutions, with opportunities to gain valuable direct experience in your area of study. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to learn and grow. This position will pay $15/hour for 8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

Report and work under the supervision of the Plant Manager.

Accept Project / Job Tasks from the Plant Manager, Sr. Engineering Manager, and other Leaders at the Plant

Work directly with Production Teams to understand, improve, and document operating procedures.

Perform in-depth study of product changeover procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.

Work with production & shipping department leadership to analyze and improve plant layout with a focus on improved material flow through the production and shipping process.

Create and maintain software systems that provide on-demand statistical analysis of Production.

Develop job safety analysis templates and conduct job safety analysis for specific work areas.

Assist Plant Maintenance teams with the use of our Computerized Maintenance System

SAP a plus. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook

Attention to detail.

Excellent communication and telephone skills

Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Ability to complete tasks neatly, accurately and in a timely fashion.

Education:

Graduated with a Four-Year Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business at an accredited College or University.
