Project Manager Assistant

We are seeking an Entry Level Project Manager Assistant to help oversee and manage mechanical projects to improve efficiency and client satisfaction. This person would report to a Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate would have some experience with managing projects, field experience, and desires to work in a team environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication with commercial field and management team. This is primarily an office position and with some field assistance. Depending on skills, this position may expand into additional assignments in project management.

Work hours: 7AM to 4PM Monday thru Friday

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 depending on skills. Health insurance with low co-pay. 3% match on retirement contributions. PTO based on years of service.

Responsibilities:

Develop project plans from start to finish of each job.

Manage change orders.

Complete the submittal process and close out documents.

Coordinate with internal teams, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and others to ensure smooth project execution.

Help conduct Project Estimates.

Review job costing regularly and ensure projects come in on track and under budget.

Support team members in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and compliance.

Implement and enforce quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor jobsite safety.

Ensure client satisfaction by successful project completion.

Qualifications:

Project management or field experience (preferred).

Good computer skills including experience with project management software, Word, Excel, Etc.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
