Internal Audit Student Intern - UAH
Job Summary:
This position will assist with internal audit projects in accordance with internal auditing policies and standards. Under supervision, the Student Intern will analyze records, systems, and processes and prepare written documentation of work performed. The Student Intern will also assist in utilizing data analytics software and interpreting results.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
UAH Students; Accounting major preferred, but other related majors will be considered
Junior or higher standing by Fall Semester 2025
Special Knowledge and Key Competencies Preferred:
Effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills with emphasis in Word, Excel, and Visio with the ability to learn new menu-driven software packages quickly
Effective critical thinking and applied learning skills
Adaptability and ability to multitask
Team player and gets along well with others
Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently use logical reasoning and sound analysis in evaluating information, data, and evidence to identify practical recommendations
Utilize audit software for data analytics
Prepare work papers that are thorough, well organized, self-explanatory, and support conclusions reached
Consistently exhibit high standards of professional conduct
Prioritize assigned tasks to ensure that project objectives are achieved
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisor
Abide by the Institute of Internal Auditors Code of Ethics
Demonstrate reliable, consistent attendance

Beginning Date: ~August 25, 2025
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Hours: 12-15 Hours per week
