WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Neptune, NJ.

Job Function:

Day Shift.

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM /6:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Recognizes deviations in patient status from normal and reports or collaborates with the appropriate healthcare team members for further input.

Assesses the daily care needs of assigned patients and collaborates with both direct and ancillary care staff as necessary.

In collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, oversees and ensures the safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.

Administers prescribed medications or those aligned with approved protocols, documenting the medical justification and effectiveness.

Assesses and documents the educational needs of patients and their families, providing initial and ongoing education tailored to their needs.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current, valid RN license for the state of New Jersey.

2 years of inpatient/acute Dialysis RN experience required.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

Experience in outpatient Dialysis required.

1 year of acute dialysis experience.

Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine and portable RO's.
