Full Time Assistant Regional Manager Job Description:
Mid America Health is seeking an Assistant Regional Manager to join our Ohio management team. We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Assistant Regional Manager to oversee the daily operations, staffing, and performance of our Dental Assistant (DA) and Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) teams across 28 facilities. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills to ensure high-quality patient care, optimal staffing, and adherence to organizational policies.
This Assistant Regional Manager position will work Full Time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday), with correctional facilities throughout the state of Ohio. This remote position requires 50% travel within the State of Ohio, and a company car is provided. This is a salary position with competitive compensation of $90,000 annually.
Job Duties:
Supervise and support a team of 59 DA and RDH staff.
Maintain and update monthly working schedules across 28 dental sites.
Manage and update monthly dental staffing grid.
Approve and process payroll and PTO Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation.
Coordinate candidate site visits, onboarding, and contractor training.
Train new hires on payroll systems and ensure proper computer access.
Develop and oversee new hire training schedules in coordination with mentors and site staff.
Address and document staff performance and interpersonal issues.
Support conflict resolution and team cohesion initiatives.
Organize annual meetings and group gatherings.
Ensure effective communication and follow-up.
Job Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in healthcare or dental office management.
Proven experience in staff supervision, scheduling, and HR coordination.
Proficiency with scheduling and payroll software (e.g., Paycom preferred).
Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities across locations.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in multi-site healthcare/dental operations.
Previous supervisory or regional manager experience in a clinical setting.
