Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Piper Maddox has been engaged by a leading business in the low-carbon fuels and clean energy space that is seeking a strong E&C Technician to help the implementation and maintenance of their systems and plant equipments.

This role is a terrific opportunity to work with an industry leading energy infrastructure company leading the charge in reducing greenhouse gas emission worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical power circuits, automation, and pneumatic systems for pipeline operations and measurement facilities.

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on pumps, compressors, and related equipment.

Lead and assist with facility grounding system evaluations and maintenance.

Install and repair security/intrusion systems.

Ensure safety compliance and report environmental concerns.

Supervise third-party construction and maintenance activities.

Complete documentation and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.

Knowledge of National Electric Codes and electrical/mechanical diagrams.

Valid driver’s license and may require CDL.

Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Associate degree in a technical field. (preferred)

Experience with process controls, gas processing, and flammable gas handling. (preferred)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Must be available for on-call and after-hours work, with possible travel.

Must be willing to clear a drug screening and background check prior to employment
