Desktop Support Technician
Location: Dublin, GA 31027 (Onsite)
Experience: 3+ years
Contract: 6-12+ Months
Requirement:
Install, configure, and maintain Devices at stores and other sites
Perform onsite Device maintenance, updates, or configuration changes
Perform single and bulk IMACDs (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose)
Provide technical support and setup during special events such as grocery store openings
Provide onsite technical assistance for Devices in adherence to HCLTech agreed Service Levels (SLAs)
Perform grand opening standby support
Strong Microsoft Operating System installation (Win 7 & Win10/11) and troubleshooting skills
Strong experience in troubleshooting MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Strong desktop support knowledge including hardware, software, and networking concepts PC / Laptop hardware repair experience. Ability to achieve HP Repair Certification
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Trading Applications such as:
Bloomberg, Bloomberg add-ins for Office.
Use of Active Directory, setting users, add permissions, changing group policies, logon scripts.
Configuration of local and network printers.
Troubleshooting connectivity issues, Ethernet, wireless.
Supporting users with all issues after upgrade.
Keep inventory and asset management.
Report to client project manager
To maintain a high degree of customer interaction and service for all support queries.
