Job Title: Quality Engineer

Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 per year
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring our products and processes meet top industry standards. You will act as a vital liaison between Quality and Manufacturing, manage quality documentation, and support ongoing improvement initiatives aligned with ISO/IATF requirements.
Essential Functions:
Serve as the key liaison between Manufacturing and Quality regarding customer specifications, quality requirements, and issue resolution
Assist in annual plant audits and internal systems surveys
Maintain CMM programs and control Master Samples to meet customer inspection requirements
Create, organize, and manage APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and GD&T documentation for inspection and process control
Drive improvements in testing methods, tooling, and equipment using statistical sampling
Collaborate with Engineering to develop efficient testing processes for new product lines
Perform process audits and daily evaluations to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
7–12 years of Quality Engineer experience
5+ years in aerospace manufacturing quality, with focus on machined and fabricated products
Strong knowledge of AS9100, IATF16949, and industry regulations
Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading, and interpreting industry specs
Experience in metal machining and stamping
Background in supplier development, audits, and quality management systems
Skilled in MS Office, statistical software, and quality tools
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
CQE certification and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
Experience with CMM programming and metrology software
