Job Title: Help Desk Support Specialist II

Location: Carlsbad, CA (100% in office)

Overview:

Our client, a growing team in the Carlsbad area that works with orthobiologic products, is seeking a motivated and skilled Help Desk Support Specialist II. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and delivering effective solutions to end-user issues related to the company's network and computer applications. You will also play a vital role in maintaining the company's computer infrastructure, including servers, desktops/laptops, mobile technology, and the network.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems with end-users' computers and applications on the network.

Provide basic network troubleshooting and diagnosis support to LAN Administrators.

Monitor user training needs and provide recommendations.

Provide support for mobile phones and seamless printing to end-users.

Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve issues effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.

Follow up with customers to ensure complete resolution of their issues.

Deliver excellent customer service.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Experience with desktop/laptop systems, Microsoft Windows, and various hardware.

Experience managing MS Office applications.

Solid foundational knowledge of servers and networking, including WiFi.

Ability to handle a high volume of requests, multitask, and support multiple customers simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users via email, phone, and in person.

Availability to take on-call support for after-hours and weekends.

Regular and punctual attendance is required.

Nonessential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications (Preferred):

Experience managing users in a Citrix environment.

Experience with various tablets and MAC IOS devices.

Experience working in a VM server environment.

Experience supporting and maintaining corporate phone systems and/or cell phones (iPhone, Android).

Oracle administration experience is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

The role requires sitting for extended periods, frequent standing and walking, and daily use of standard business equipment (computer, copier, telephone, etc.).

Occasional reaching overhead, bending, and lifting objects up to 35 lbs.

Must have correctable eyesight and hearing to a standard level.

Compensation:

Pay: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour

Bonus: 5% (offered only for full-time employees)
