Position Duties/Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
The Technical Support Engineer position is to provide technical support to Antaira customers, potential customers, channel partners (outside sales reps, or distributors), and internal sales team:
Antaira products Pre/Post Sales technical support
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
Troubleshooting, and application identification
Assist sales team to recommend appropriate solution to customers
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the supervisor and appropriate internal teams
Dive deep into technical case for a complete understanding of customer’s application, setup environment
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers, and related internal teams
Ensure technical support cases are properly recording in system and closure of all issues
Ensure technical cases are resolved in a timely manner
Work with supervisor to provide document knowledge in the form of knowledge base technical notes and case studies
Continuous learning/training for new products, technologies, and application knowledge from product management team
Document any new products’ quick testing and setup procedure
Support RMA department for RMA case qualification and issues identification
Collaborate with Product Management team
Report any product quality issues
Any specific function/feature request from customers
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2 or more years of technical support activities in industrial networking or enterprise networking.
Ethernet technology expert and if possible wireless and serial communication technologies.
Fluent (written and spoken) in English and Spanish is preferred.
