Lead Sales Director – Water Filtration & Wellness

Location: California (On-site)

Compensation: $70,000 base salary + 2% commission on all new direct-to-consumer business generated + 2% commission on all new B2B/distributor business

Your Mission

You will design, build, and implement both the recruitment strategy and the sales strategy that powers our direct-to-consumer door-to-door teams, group events, and distributor network. You’ll be hands-on, working from our California office to create the processes, playbooks, and incentive plans that drive hires, training, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Scale Teams: Build, recruit, and manage door-to-door sales crews, group/event sales teams, and distribution partners.

Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute a pipeline for sourcing, vetting, and onboarding new reps and distributors.

Sales Strategy & Systems: Create comprehensive sales playbooks, scripts, objection-handling guides, CRM workflows, and closing systems.

Implementation: Work on-site to roll out your systems—train new hires, mentor managers, and ensure consistent execution.

B2C & B2B Growth:

Oversee direct-to-consumer channels (door-to-door & groups), with a focus on customer acquisition and retention.

Drive B2B/distributor partnerships—identify targets, negotiate agreements, and grow new revenue streams.

Performance Metrics: Track KPIs (recruitment velocity, conversion rates, average sale value, retention), forecast revenue, and hit monthly/quarterly targets.

Collaboration: Partner with marketing for lead generation campaigns, event planning, and messaging alignment.

What You Bring

5+ years—direct sales leadership, including door-to-door or event-based selling

Proven track record recruiting, training, and scaling sales teams and distribution channels

Strong strategic thinker who can build systems from scratch and drive adoption

Excellent communicator and coach—comfortable on the sales floor and in the board room

Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and performance reporting

Passion for health-focused, high-quality consumer products

Compensation & Incentives

Base Salary: $70,000/year

Commission:

2 % on all new direct-to-consumer revenue generated by your strategies

2 % on all new B2B/distributor revenue you secure

Bonus Opportunities: Performance milestones for recruiting goals, team growth, and revenue targets
