Computer Numerical Control Programmer

**Job Summary:**

Alpha Tool & Mold, Inc. is currently seeking skilled and experienced CNC Mill Programmers to join our team. We are a tool and die manufacturing company dealing mainly with precision machining work as well as plastic, wax, and ceramic core dies for the aerospace and manufacturing industry. You will be creating programs that are used by our machinists and toolmakers. Candidates need to demonstrate an ability to meet job requirements, problem solve, and work cooperatively with other team members. No Production Machinists, one of a kind part precision machining environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Use Mastercam (preferred), Unigraphics (UG), or Bobcad.

- Program tool paths based of of 2D geometry for 3 axis milling of precision parts.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances.

- Generate inspection documentation for each program.

**Experience:**

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment, or similar experience with any prototype / low volume precision parts programming.

- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.

- Knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam (preferred), Unigraphics (UG), or Bobcad).

- Determine and plan most efficient machining operations with project manager.

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
